Describe a scenario where communication was ineffective

Develop a communication analysis paper in which you describe and evaluate a scenario (in-person, through email, or using both communication avenues) where communication was ineffective.

1. Write the description in a style similar to the “Addressing the Critical Issues” case studies included in the text, making the single-spaced description no longer than one page.

2. Evaluate the communication in a style also similar to the “Addressing the Critical Issues” component of the text-based case studies. For this scenario, be sure to address the following:

a. The location of the break down within the communication process (see Figure 4.2)

b. The lead communicator’s behaviors that facilitated or hindered communication, and

c. The improvements the lead communicator could have performed to improve the quality of communication (if the scenario could be repeated).

3. Conclude the communication analysis by summarizing, in one or two paragraphs, the information you learned about the importance of communication for an effective leader.
