This is for a term paper for my political science class. It is to be an alanlysis paper. I choose to write about the 2007/08 recession that was caused (or was it?) by subprime mortgage deliquencies and foreclosures. The instructions for this paper are as follows: This analysis paper should begin with an opening paragraph that discusses the importance of the item being analyzed (the recession) and the researchers approach to analysis. Following this, the body of the paper should consist of several topic sentences and arguments regarding the subject, followed by supporting facts and information. Point is to deterime a conclusion about subject. Conclude with author synopsis-offer reasonable conclusion based on provided evidence. And of course cited sources. My instructor suggested this subject to me using words like Bill Clinton, morgages, banks, Glass-Steagall Act(a set of provisions included int the broader Banking Act of 1933), Repeal of Glass Steagall Act, Allan Greenspan, Federal Government, and more. I have information about it, I just don’t know how to put it together and I don’t quite understand the economics around it.
