Cross-lingustic Influence between the Spanish and English Languages

introduction and part of the body of the research. So please do not include an overall conclusion of the writing. Just the introduction, the topic that has to be
addressed, and a closing to that topic.

In the introduction I want to address the following topic/question:
• What is language transfer (also known as linguistic interference and cross-linguistic influence)?

Also, please mention in the introduction that we will also be exploring the following topics/questions throughout the paper:
• When does linguistic interference result in correct language production (positive transfer) and when is it a source of errors (negative transfers)?
• Which literacy skills get transferred from one language to another?
• What instructional strategies, if any, can be used when seeking to transfer knowledge from one language to another?

All of these topics will be explored taking into consideration primarily the languages of Spanish and English. So please avoid writing about language transfer between
other languages that are not Spanish nor English.

Following the introduction, the following topic/question has to be addressed:
• When does linguistic interference result in correct language production (positive transfer) and when is it a source of errors (negative transfers)?

Please include examples of positive and negative transfers from the Spanish to the English language.

-Please make sure that the sources used are NO older than 10 years. Only sources from 2006-present.

-Always remember that we are focusing on the languages of Spanish and English.

-And finally, please do not include too many direct quotes.
