For this week, you read two picture books, Voices in the Park and Nothing Ever Happens on 90th Street, both of which look at characters’ stories from different perspectives (in different ways). What did you think of these books? What similarities did you notice between the two books? How might you teach about these similarities using a before, during, and/or after reading activity (or activities)? If you had to choose one of these books to teach in your classroom (for an appropriate grade level), which one would you choose and why?
