Watch a movie or television show that portrays a psychological disorder then write a research paper on the disorder. Begin the paper by discussing how the disorder was portrayed in the movie. Next describe the disorder including the diagnostic features and information about onset, course, prevalence, sex ratios, and predisposing factors. Conclude by describing one method of treatment for the disorder.
Note: The first thing you should do after choosing your movie is to consult both your textbook and the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders to read about the disorder. You may even want to make a photocopy of the section describing the disorder you chose. This will give you much of the information you need to describe the disorder including provide you info on the diagnostic features and information about onset, course, prevalence, sex ratios, and predisposing factors.

How was the disorder portrayed in the movie? What did they get right/ wrong? Be sure to name the movie and the disorder
–Describe the disorder (minimum 2 pages)
Include information about the following: the diagnostic features (criteria) and information about onset, course, prevalence, sex ratios, and predisposing factors
–Describe one method of treatment (minimum 2 pages)
Describe one popular method of treatment for the disorder including information about how effective that treatment is
