Compare an old commercial from a company with a new commercial- say take a look at a commercial from the year you were born and compare it to one from today. Discuss the differences and similarities between the two.
Think about two or three brands that you wear, consume, or covet. Try to find as many ads for two or three specific brands you like and then analyze the ads for any messages that may stretch beyond the obvious. What words describe the product? Do they match the product or make it sound more amazing? Prepare an analysis of your research.
