American exceptionalism.
As NYT writer Charles Blow pointed out in his op/ed, these provocative comments touch on the concepts of American exceptionalism. Your assignment for this research project is to investigate TWO SEPARATE TOPCS ( American Education and race relations) that you will use as evidence to both support and dismiss the notion of American exceptionalism. This research project will be comprised of a three paragraph essay. An introductory paragraph of at least half a dozen sentences outlining the TWO topics you have chosen to investigate. One of these topics will be used as evidence to support the idea of American exceptionalism. The second topic will be used as evidence to dismiss and counter the idea of American exceptionalism. Each paragraph should include at least two scholarly references.
