This study hypothesis is that the longer it takes for a patient to get started on a benzodiazepine the more likely it is the patient will need a large amount of benzodiazepines and that the use of CIWA
does not decrease the overall amount of benzodiazepines used, and that use of CIWA decreases the use of benzodiazepines in only a subsection of patients receiving it and does so when used
early on. I want to complie the data on patients from my hospital, data includes age, sex, admitting diagnosis, a few lab values (CBC, including
MCV and Plt, Basic metabolic profile, Albumin, AST, ALT, INR, GGT) and data on the amount of all benzodiazepines used each day till discharge.
