Employee Pay and Compensation
Using the budget from the selected agency, write a three to five (3-5) page paper in which you use your agency’s or organization’s budget from the previous assignment (Huntsville City Schools):
1. Analyze the agency’s compensation for employees.
Provide a rationale on what the cost and benefits would be for a 2 percent, 4 percent, or 5 percent pay increase for the next fiscal year.
Also include a paragraph explaining why you wouldn’t give the raises. In your forecast, discuss the effects of the increase on benefits for the agency. (Title this section Payroll Forecast.)
Your paper should include a cover page, introduction-define what a salary, a chart, reasons for an increase of the Huntsville City Schools, pros-why will it be good for Huntsville City Schools, cons-why it will not work for the Huntsville City Schools, appropriate citations.
Your assignment must follow these formatting requirement:
Be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides’ citations and references much follow APA. Check with your professor for additional instructions.
Include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student’s name, the professor’s name the course title, and the date. The cover page and the reference page are not included in the required assignment page length.
