Analyze one of propositions on california ballot election
Please choose one of the following topics and write a 1200 word minimum (NOT including bibliography) essay. You need to do research and cite your references in an organized manner. Please keep in mind that references can include news articles and books (Wikipedia or any other “Wiki” cite is NOT an academic source). I would suggest a minimum of 5 different references.
Topics:
1. Write a comprehensive analysis of the upcoming election for President. Why did each party nominate their respective candidates- what factored into those elections? Based on their policies and style, which types of voter does each candidate appeal to? Use factual information (polling data, ect.) to support your analysis (not just your opinion). How does history impact this election (past elections and recent developments in our country)? Who do you support and why?
2. Analyze one of the propositions on the California ballot this election (you may include two if there are competing propositions). Give the pros and cons as well as the impacts if the proposition should pass. How likely is it to pass and why (use factual information such as funding efforts and polling data)? Do you support it? Why or why not?
3. How should the U.S. respond to 65 million Syrians displaced around the world? Do you agree with how President Obama has handled it thus far? Why or why not? Should we aid the war in Syria by providing military intervention or should it only be humanitarian efforts? Be thorough in your analysis
