1. A summary (abstract) only of the article, requiring you to employ your skills of objective reportage (exposition) only, without offering your point of view. An abstract omits detail and focuses on major ideas. Each abstract should include identification of the problem the article addresses, its claim, and a sketch of the argument, including notation of the major concepts (key terms or essential ideas) that seem essential to any discussion of the article’s topic.

2. Each of the three abstracts should be a minimum of 200 words and no more than 400.

3. This will be an annotated bibliography in MLA style.
