The article “Predicting Homicide Clearances in Chicago: Investigating Disparities in Predictors Across Different Types of Homicide” discusses the research gap using Chicago homicide data from 1991 to 2002 to identify predictive factors in homicide clearances (Alderden & Lavery, 2007). (Unfortunately the authors haven’t made the full article available for download so I had to copy & paste the abstract). Discuss some of the predictive factors in homicide clearances. Discuss the aforementioned using terms associated with the study of crime and criminology.
