The history of Asia is inseparable from the region’s political, economic and cultural interactions with other parts of the world. What do you feel are the three most significant ways in which global forces and connections have shaped Asia in the modern era (roughly 1600 until now)?

If you are including examples from lecture or film, you do not need to provide a source. Just put them in.
