Research Question: What are parenting styles of Asian American parents? How identification of Asian American parents and their children shaped by cultural and societal influences within contexts of inequality?
The content shoud address the impact of class and socio-economic status and education of the parents in influencing their child rearing practices. Factors of poverty and underemployment for the families also are important in the social, economic and cultural capital of the families.
