select one of the essays we’ve read and write a response: “The Men We Carry in Our Minds,” “Personal Politics: A Lesson in Straight Talk,” “The Good Daughter,” or “Oh, Those Family Values.”
At the end of each essay are several prompts listed under “Topic for Writing.” Choose an essay that interests you and select one of the topics listed after the essay. Remember that the essay should be 3-5 pages long using in-text citations and a Works Cited page.
