“Students will investigate the role of Australia in the Vietnam war and compare this with the roles played in WWI and more recent conflicts such as Korea, East Timor and Iraq and the changing public perception of Australia’s role in such conflicts. The focus of this depth study will be upon the changes in public perception of war and how the Vietnam war was bound up with changes to international relations and Australia’s role in the region of Southeast Asia. “
