The principal purpose of the project is to provide each team with an opportunity to explore, apply and demonstrate understanding of the concepts, principles, and/or analytical tools – in more detail than may actually be covered in the course – of a facet of global supply chain operations. Various project options may be considered (see below) or you may suggest your own topic, subject to approval. The resulting report should be 8 to 10 content pages in length (double-spaced; additional appendices may be included). In addition, a complete bibliography should be included in the report. As part of your project, please include a discussion (if applicable) of how specific organizations or industries have incorporated the ideas covered in your analysis, either successfully or unsuccessfully. Also provide your insight as to how you think this idea/topic (or its impact profile) may look in the future.
