Benchmark Assignment – Theoretical Frameworks
Prepare a paper of approximately 750 words in length that does the following:
Using the information presented in Chapter 1 of the Choices in Relationships: An Introduction to Marriage and the Family text and/or from other current resources available to you, select the theoretical frameworks for viewing marriage and families that you think are most useful and accurate.
Choose and incorporate a minimum of three frameworks. Describe each framework selected and give reasons for your choices of each. Include in your paper, the aspect of marriage and families for which each of your chosen theories would be best suited. (For instance, perhaps one theory would be best for understanding mate selection while a different theory would be best for understanding parenting problems that might occur.)
Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is not required.
