Ø Part II: Application of Criminological Theories [2-3 pages
Begin each section on a new page and include a proper heading at the top of the page in bold, centered. The reference page should include a citation for the book as well as citations for any external sources used in the paper (e.g., the source for theories discussed). Papers must demonstrate knowledge of the information presented in the book and the application and analysis of criminological theory.

The book response/critique should be more in-depth in discussion than a book review. Do not simply re-state the materials presented in the book. Critically respond to and analyze the materials presented in the book. The book response/critique will be graded on thoroughness, organization, clarity and originality.
Part II: Theoretical Application
Select specific examples of interviewed participants in this book and select one or two criminological theories that you think best explain their criminal behavior. Explain the theory/theories thoroughly, clearly and concisely (i.e., to a reader who has no idea what the theories state), explain why that theory best explains that individual’s behavior using specific examples from the book that support your selection of that theory or theories. Criminology Theories that can be used are Gender-Based Theories, labelling theory , social learning theory, classical school theory, the Chicago school theory, anomie theory
