Question 1,

The Buddha taught that the meditation on impermanence is the best of all because understanding that the life we live is ever changing and nothing in our lives is permanent will help us to prepare for all of the negative energies we all will at one point or another will come to know. The meditation on impermanence is practicing our minds to prepare for and accept all that life has to give us. We cannot and should not expect to live a youthful, eternally healthy, or happy life without witnessing illness, injury, pain, sorrow, or death. All of these things are a part of life and understanding that it is a part of our faith will allow us to accept it. Buddha teaches us that what is real is the present and that our present lives are a result of our past. Our past experiences, and actions make us who we are and where we are in this very moment. Buddha is teaching us that by understanding lifes ups and downs will allow us to find liberation through annica. By accepting our sorrows, dealing with it, and understanding it will allow us to attain Nirvana.
