1. Apply BANA II models and techniques. | Total – 50% | ||
a. Use models and applications learned in BANA II to answer the stated problem statement. This includes finding orginal data, applying BANA II concepts, and original thought towards analysis. | 30 | ||
b. Explain the model and how it is useful to answer the problem statement. | 10 | ||
c. Explain the results of those models and how those results can assist in answering the question. | 10 | ||
2. 35% of the grade will be how you explain the problem, articulate the methodology, findings, and conclusion. | Total – 35% | ||
a. Does the report have a problem statement, background, methodology, data collection, results, and conclusion paragraphs. | 25 | ||
b. Does the author explain the various sections of the report to make the common reader understand how business analytics is important to answering the question. | 10 | ||
4. The last 15% is how you present the report. Style and structure matter in real-world reports. If you do not get to the report to 4 or 5 pages, points will be deducted from this 15%. | Total – 15% | ||
a. Does the author report the findings in a professional manner, with minimal grammatical and misspelling errors? | 10 | ||
b. Does not achieve minimum of 4 and maximum of 5 pages. | 5 |
