C DB4 Rural social workers

Rural social workers can find themselves faced with client(s) with presenting problems requiring a level of care or intervention that is not readily available. Social work practice requires us to have effective assessment skills but also the capacity to accurately identify an area of need that is not being met. To that end, identify a problem that a rural social worker may encounter with a client(s) and develop an approach to ameliorate that problem. Be creative and consider strategies for micro, mezzo and macro levels of intervention. It need not be based on the literature or founded within a theoretical framework.
