Read the following scenario and write a one page, typed reflection on what you would do if you were the judge and having to impose a sentence. Throughout your reflection keep in mind concepts of different types of punishments, legal and extra-legal factors that can affect sentencing, sentencing guidelines versus sentencing recommendations and the effect of victim impact statements.
