In this essay, you may focus on causes or effects or both.

• If you decide to explore causes of the trend, ask yourself a question such as, “Why are hotel restaurants, now more than ever, offering more healthy options for their guests?” Then come up with a couple of possible reasons why hotel restaurants are embracing this health food trend.

• Please, be aware that focus on causes of some of the trends listed above may not lend itself to fulfilling length requirement of this essay (minimum of 3 pages). Then, after brief discussion of causes, you should move onto the more lengthy segment on effects

• If you decide to explore effects of the trend, answer these two questions: 1. Who is affected by the trend: hotel companies? employees? customers? anyone else? 2. In what ways?

It is important to discuss more than just one group of people affected by the trend and different ways in which each group is affected.

Meaningful research is required. You are expected to provide objective evidence from at least three current and reliable sources to support your reasoning. MLA style in-text citations and a Works Cited page are required.
