Use at least 3 hours to observe a minimum of two English Language Arts lessons led by a certified teacher. If possible, observe more than one classroom/teacher. Observe additional English language lessons as needed to reach the 3 hours. Take note of assessments.

Write a 250-500-word reflection on one of the observed lessons, in which you do the following:

1. Elaborate on the use of assessments.
2. Evaluate the effectiveness of the teacher’s assessment choices.
3. Describe what you would do differently regarding assessment choices.

Support your analysis with at least one research-based best practice.
