Story about my leadership: The most recent and major leadership I’ve had was baseball captain. I was selected
as a baseball captain of my high school in my junior and senior year. In the beginning, I did not really know how
to lead a team, or how to become a leader because it was my first leadership after I attended school in the US. At
first, people did not listen to me often because they probably thought that why do we need an Asian to lead us.
Therefore, I found a way to lead the group not by talking, but tried to advance my skills in the field. It worked
really well because in my senior year, people started to listen to me and did what I ask them to do because I let
them know, the team wouldn’t be a team without me.
