1- Critique and compare two films based on true stories about public affairs reporting. Approved choices are: Spotlight, The Post, All the President’s Men, Frost/Nixon, Good Night and Good Luck. How is the role of the news media portrayed in the films? What challenges to the reporters and editors face, and how do they overcome those challenges? Do not simply describe the plots of each film. Rather, use your critique to address ethical issues the characters face and how the work that they do support the foundation of democracy that the news media upholds.
