What is a portfolio?

A portfolio is a written document justifying and documenting the request for college-equivalent credit.

Portfolios have four components: 1) a cover letter requesting credit for specific college courses; 2) a resume identifying your educational, professional, and other relevant activities; 3) a narrative demonstrating that you have “college-equivalent” knowledge and skills; and 4) documentation to support your claims of accomplishment.

35 Page Portfolio – My advisor said communications would be best. I can provide you with a lot of details of my jobs and you can just make most of it up. It just has to show that I have the related experience to basically test out of the communication classes.

I will be able to give you examples of previous students portfolios, and what topics to talk about as well as my resume and some details about my work experience.
