Write a paper comparing and contrasting these to novels. Start by choosing a character, a scene, or a theme in each of the two works. Make these choices the focus of your comparision. Form an argument about the significance of the similarities or key distinctions between the two characters, two scenes, or two themes that you are comparing. Discuss their larger significance for the two books. Be sure to state clearly a main claim at the end of the first paragraph of your paper and to make sure it has tension, unity, and clarity. Give your paper a titile. Use textual evidence, including quotations from both texts and explications of key passages to support your claims.
