Conflict in South Sudan

Description
The research paper should be designed to explore the utility of particular theoretical accounts of conflicts in light of available, reliable evidence. There must be a clearly identifiable research question and a clearly stated thesis statement. This must be focused around a post-Cold War conflict and particularly on South Sudan post-independence. Examine causes for the conflict (i.e. ethnic, religious, resources, weak institutions, or whatever they may be) and provide a strong analytical argument and sound conclusion. Be sure to explain the dominant characteristics of the conflict drawing upon theories of conflict. Please include several of the following journals/resources in your analysis:
Foreign Affairs
Conflict, Security and Development
International Organisation
The Journal of Peace Research
American Political Science Review
World Politics
Comparative Politics
Journal of Conflict Resolution
Security Studies
Stability
Journal of Deradicalization
Please include a cover page and a bibliography and as well as follow Chicago formatting throughout paper. The specific style should include footnotes in 10 pt font on the bottom of each page and page numbers MUST be included in all citations. The body of the paper should average at least 1 citation per paragraph.

These are the general requirements of the paper, however, I trust your good judgement
