Think about specific areas of constitutional concern and the effect of imprisonment on religious rights. Discuss with the class your views on religious restrictions in prison, the right to hold religious services, wearing of religious medals, restrictions of diet and free access to ministers. What guidelines should be in place? What factors should be considered when creating or enforcing policy concerning religious practices among inmates?
