WRITING A SHORT PAPER  Structure: • Title, Name, Course title, due date • Introduction (topic + question), Main body (answering the question), Conclusion (summary of most important points) and critical reflection • Reference list (all sources that you used in alphabetical order)  No colloquial language (a bit, it´s, I, we, badly)  Grammar: MsWord spell check, proofread at least once and avoid common mistakes  Please use a proper citation style (Harvard, APA, Oxford, etc.) – don‘t mix them up Reference style • Choose one and stick to it: Harvard, APA, Oxford, ASA • In-text: (Author, year, page) • Footnotes: complete source, as in reference list  Reference list • Give as much information as available • Never only URL, at least: Author, Year, Title, publisher, last accessed, from URL
