You are expected to prepare properly constructed Use Cases or DFDs. Make sure you follow the syntax- you could have a very good idea about what you are doing, but if your diagrams are incorrect, syntactically, then, well, you’ll get “0” for that part. Please, do not submit any cartoons instead properly formed diagrams.
You could trust me or not (I’d rather you do), but business process analysis and modeling is a skill that separates, qualitatively, people in IS. And those diagrams are the tools of the trade- you are not going to go too far, I am sorry to tell you, if you are not comfortable with BP analysis and modeling. After all, this is what IT architecture’ frameworks do, fundamentally- they map IT to business processes.
