Create a 5 page newsletter that provides a comprehensive description of Psychology. You will write this newsletter for the common layperson (e.g., your parents, fifth graders, your favorite teacher, etc.). Make sure you specify your target audience.
Your newsletter should include: history of psychology, important concepts, events, terms, and principles learned in PSY 150. Use appropriate graphics and be sure to add your own reflections on the discipline of Psychology.
Make sure the entire newsletter is in your own words and not in any segment a copy and paste from the internet or other sources. It is fine of course to cite references and you certainly should, however, please make sure that all of your work in the newsletter is in your own words.
Overall, the newsletter will be evaluated based upon the following criteria: definition/definitions of Psychology, principles and events, examples of Psychological ideas, and your own reflections on this discipline and supporting evidence (i.e., tables, graphics, etc. ) For more information, take a look at corresponding Psychology newsletter rubric.
