Terms of Reference:
The Tourism, Hospitality and Events Industry is staffed by people from a variety of backgrounds who are required to work together in team environments to accomplish venue objectives or projects. Similarly, during the course of your studies, you will be required to work in teams with students from diverse backgrounds.
The aim of this assessment is for students to examine communication issues that can affect team effectiveness as a result of working in a team.
You will use your Presentation Group as the point of analysis. You should keep personal notes regarding communication issues following each of your meetings with your Presentations Group. You should supplement this information by research undertaken by relevant and credible authors.
