A cultural analysis based on a topic of choice related to one of the weekly readings. This topic should be an event or phenomena that occur within a specific non-western culture in a post-colonial world (1945-present). You must choose one or two of the three anthropological approaches used by cultural anthropologists to analyze this event or phenomena (pg.9 Eller text). You may choose to make a cross-cultural comparison, use a holistic, or relativistic approach. If you choose to compare and contrast, try to choose two chosen non-western cultures in a post-colonial, global context, reading to a shared/similar event or phenomena.
