For this project your will be researching a current dance artist (Jessica Lang) that has been making work and/or dancing in the past five years and then presenting your findings in a video presentation to the class.
Your presentation needs to include the following information: (extra info is good)
1. Personal History
2. Dance Training (include genres)
3. Choreography/ Performances
Sources for Research:
1. Minimum of five sources for your research on this current dance artist.
(Sources can include books, online sources, databases, videos and more) Our library has a lot of great resources to help you with your research.
What to do with it:
Once you have gathered all your information on your current dance artist you will need to create a video presentation to share your findings and project with the class. You can create your Video or VoiceThread (using VoiceThread free service) in anyway you would like. You can do something as simply as create a powerpoint and make it into a movie to share, or if you have video editing skills use them or you can use VoiceThread website that allows to you create presentations with multi-media included!
Your projects need to be 2-5 minutes in length and needs to include text, pictures and video content (video’s need to play in video).
You must also include a works cited or credit page at the end of your project/video. This needs to have all the sources you used list in MLA format.
