We will be planning observation for a certain date that we choose. We will use the cartrs duciel program and set it on our observation date time and location. We will find of limiting the magnitude at 4.5 or 6 will show more stars and which is brighter. Then we will find the rising and setting time, if it’s visible at 9AM and lab, magnitude, if we can see with naked eye, right ascension and declination for; Mercury, venus mars Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Moon, and Sun. We will find which constellations will be visible on our chosen observation night. Then each person will find the name of one 1st 2nd or 3rd magnitude stat, the magnitude right ascension delination, the spectral type and which constellation it’s in. We will then find two messier objects and find the magnitude, angular size, right ascension, declination and the constellation of them. This will be able to help us see the difference between glactic and globular cluster. Next, we will find out about solar and lunar eclipse and when it will happen. Finally we will choose one meteor shower to observe and find out information about it.
