Dark Ages

Description
The name Middle Ages, often called the Dark Ages, as applied to the period of time following the Classical Civilizations found in Europe, Middle East, India, and China, is a misnomer, because it implies that nothing of significance or importance occurred; indeed, the misnaming indicates that the Dark Ages were a period of cultural stagnation. As you now know, based on your readings in the textbook, the term Dark Ages is an incorrect term. Explain WHY the term DARK AGES is an inappropriate name to use to describe the post-Classical civilizations of Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, and East Asia.
