Deeper look
A video case is provided on (labeled – “Week 5 Response Paper – Bill Campbell Case” under “”). After watching this video, answer the following questions:
1. How were Bill’s actions in the case (towards both the layoffs and towards the manager who was challenging him) relate to our review of empathy in the workplace? What did he do well? What could he have done better?
2. Describe the culture of Intuit. What evidence do you have of this? What are some of the strengths or challenges of this culture? Note: To answer this question, you will need to do research on Intuit beyond the video case.
Although reporting & analyzing the case or activity noted in the prompt is critical to your response, your grade for the deeper look paper will largely come from your ability to tie your insights into the course material from the noted week. To do so, be specific in your explanations and how they relate to the core ideas, concepts, theories, and research that we have covered in the noted week.(to the powerpoints attached) § Papers should be approximately 3 to 4 pages double-spaced (12-point font, 1-inch margins, short header).
Any references or citations in your paper should be formatted using APA formatting. § All written assignments should have correct spelling and grammar. Major mistakes regarding spelling and grammar on any submitted assignment will result in an up to 15% deduction in your grade for that assignment.
