Paper details:
Select a topic (addiction, depression, chronic illness, death, etc.) from the units listed on the syllabus to research, analyze, and reflect upon. Use 1-3 works from the course that illustrate/demonstrate/clarify/verify/etc. what you have researched about your topic. Use 3-5 suitable sources – must valid, reliable. (no personal blogs, Wikipedia, Ask.com, general dictionaries or encyclopedias or similar type of sources).
You must quote and/or paraphrase from each of the articles that you researched and the works that you selected from the syllabus. Your paper should be a minimum of 3 complete pages of text and no more than 4 full pages of text. You are required to have in-text citations for all sources. In order to avoid plagiarism, you must have in-text citations in the sentences where you used others’ information and words, whether you quoted, summarized, or paraphrased. You must also have reference page citations. If you do not properly cite and plagiarize, you will receive an automatic zero on the assignment. You need to follow APA formatting for the paper—this means citations should follow APA format for in-text citations and reference page citations. You do not have to do an abstract, but need to have a title page.
