The ability to develop and present policy analysis requires not only understanding of the various facets and tools of the analytical craft, but also the ability to

present the policy in a standard format (see Dunn, Appendices 1-4). This assignment will allow you to learn how to construct a policy document – a policy brief – and,

in turn, present your analysis related to the policy matter under review and examination.

The policy brief can be related to, or build upon, the policy focus that you identified and explored during Units 1-7. You can choose any analytical tools that you

have encountered throughout the course and your overall analysis must reference relevant peer-reviewed journals, as well as relevant analysis produced by the public or

non-profit policy analysis research centers.

To successfully complete this project, you will be expected to:
