As the course text states, “socially, the new United States consisted of diverse, often conflicting and loosely connected regions” (254). Describe four distinct geographical areas from the early nation that the course text discusses, indicating the major characteristics of each region. Then, specifically describe how these regions differed. Clearly and specifically distinguish what was occurring in each region from what was occurring in the other three regions.
