from lecture:  way to understand personality is to look at key personality attributes or features called traits. The Big Five personality traits capture and describe key differentiators of personality. The five factors are represented by the word “CANOE.” The factors are conscientiousness (C), agreeableness (A), neuroticism (N), openness to experience (O), and extroversion (E). Conscientiousness and low neuroticism predict an individual’s favorable performance in most occupations.
