Describe understanding of us public health system
Provide answers that address the prompt below and draw on relevant assigned readings, audiovisual material, class discussions and activities, and student presentations. Responses will be evaluated on the basis of your knowledge, understanding, and integration of the material and your ability to effectively communicate your knowledge, understanding, and integration of the material in writing. Write in a formal tone, and proofread your work as these will all be considered in grading your work.
In a well-crafted essay that is no more than 3 pages, please address the following.
– In an opening paragraph describe your understanding of U.S. public health system using course material.
– In a second paragraph discuss how two of the module activities address different aspects of the three core functions of public health (assessment, policy development, and assurance). You can choose from modules 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8.
– In a third paragraph, discuss how two of the groups presentations (other than your own) frame the current relevance and significance of these public health topics. Make sure to focus the presentation content.
– In a fourth paragraph, discuss two News Box presentations that exemplify what public health looks like on the ground (exclude your presentation, cover two different topics, and cover different topics than those chosen for the group presentation paragraph).
– In a final paragraph state in your own words what you determine are the two most significant points from this course that stand out to you; in essence, this last paragraph is a personal reflection.
You only need to include the cover page, body, and reference sections for this paper.
