For this assignment you are to develop a new product testing and screening plan to evaluate the product demand, proposed product attributes and benefits, and other factors that will determine the viability of the product, and to make recommendations for the protocol, development, testing, leading up to the commercial launch of the product.
You are to generate a new product concept testing and screening plan using one or several of the techniques described in the readings. Use one of the Types of Produce Use Tests as Applied to your newly generated product to determine what features, characteristics and benefits would best fit your product.
Your paper should describe how you would test and screen the idea and how you analyzed the product to determine the acceptable product attributes. The paper should be thorough in your discussion of the topic and should be 5–7 pages. Any diagrams or charts should be included in an appendix. Submit your paper to your instructor by the due date. Chapter 9 pages 211 through 228 have a myriad of Product Concept Testing.
