b. Recommend a Pay Structure (70 points)

i. Assign pay grade, explain which jobs are in which range, etc.

ii. Assign salary ranges to each pay grade

iii. Illustrate and discuss Midpoint Progressions, Overlap and Range Widths

c. Explanation of process used to develop pay structure, including what data used, why, how applied the concepts of midpoint progression, overlap and range widths, how you determined internal value of CCC jobs, how mapped CCC jobs to external market data, what method you used to develop job grades, how you aged the market data, etc. (40 points)

d. Overall clarity, professionalism and presentation; prepared to business standards (10 points)

3. Phase III: Formal Written Presentation: 140 points

a. Introduction (5 points) Due December 13

b. Identification/analysis of major issues (20 points)

c. Range of solutions considered & why focused on them or discounted them (25 points)

d. Identification of side issues (30 points)

e. Proposed solutions (30 points)

f. Implementation plan for recommendations (20 points)

g. Overall organization, clarity, professionalism, internal consistency and writing; prepared to business standards (10 points)
