Midterm will be a paper discussing which of the developmental theories of cognitive development covered in class best supports the theory you support on how language develops.
I support Piaget’s theory of cognitive development which is a comprehensive theory about the nature and development of human intelligence. Piaget believed that one’s childhood plays a vital and active role in a person’s development. Piaget’s idea is primarily known as a developmental stage theory.
You must support/explain how the cognitive theory you chose explains the philosophy you believe best reflects the emergence of language.
Your paper must include at least three sources in addition of our text (i.e., at total of 4 references).
