Disaster Recovery 5.1

Part 1

Conduct research using the library regarding Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity (DR/BC) Plan test procedures, how to conduct them, and any risks or issues associated with testing. Discuss the following:

• When should testing be conducted (time of day, day of week, etc.)?
• What personnel need to be involved in testing?
• What type of back-up systems should be used in testing (hot sites, cold sites, warm sites, cloud-based services)?
• What fallback plans should be considered in case testing does not go well?

Part 2: Summative Discussion Board
