Conflict occurs in the workplace and our personal lives. The key is to effectively manage conflict and communicate clearly.
Describe how you handle conflict and a specific workplace conflict situation. Who was involved and did you, as the manager or your manager, promote constructive conflict? What type of leadership power (position, personal, legitimate, reward, coercive, or referent) existed and how did that impact the situation? Was the conflict handled with a Christian perspective in mind? How will the conflict in the situation you described be minimized in the future, taking the Christian world view into consideration?
Responses should be a minimum of two pages, double-spaced, 12 point, and Times New Roman font. Your response should illustrate a mastery of conflict resolution discussed in the textbooks. Please includeAPA citations where appropriate. Two scholarly journals and both textbooks need to be cited to provide support for your discussion.
